Three Kinds of Web Users

I think there are three types of web users:
- Consumers
- Creators
- Connectors
Obviously, the vast majority of the world fits into the first category — hell, it’s where I am most of the time. Feed the beast and all. The second group has been very much on the rise over the last couple of years as tools have become available that are efficient and easy to use (see youtube and myspace and now facebook as examples).
But, it’s the third category that’s largely behind web 2.0 stuff. It’s also where I think most museums should be trying to spend
